Lack of sleep in children is one of the biggest challenges many parents face today. From difficulty falling asleep to frequent night awakenings, sleep issues can be problematic for both children and their parents. Understanding Why Children Struggle with Sleep
Have you ever wondered why your child struggles with sleep? It could be stress (yes, children experience stress too), anxiety, or even overstimulation from screens like phones or tablets. For some children, especially at night, it might be a fear of the dark. Understanding the root cause of your child's sleep problem can help you guide them towards better rest at night and help them avoid feeling tired in the morning. This is crucial for their mood, energy, and overall development.

When you hear "HYPNOSIS," what comes to mind? Something only for adults? Well, you might be surprised. The truth is, hypnosis is an amazing way to help children sleep better, and it’s completely natural and safe. It can improve their sleep patterns and help them relax, releasing any built-up tension or fear they might be holding onto.

Practical Tips to Support Your Child’s Sleep
Good sleep hygiene is crucial as your child learns self-hypnosis. As a parent, one of the most important things you can do is establish a consistent bedtime routine. Setting a specific time for your child to go to bed helps them anticipate rest at that particular time, thereby reducing symptoms of insomnia. But don’t just instruct them to go to bed - incorporate calming bedtime activities like taking a warm bath, reading a story, or playing soft music to ease the transition.
These activities help create a sleep-friendly environment. Make sure their bedroom is comfortable, quiet, and dark. Remove toys and electronics to help them focus on falling asleep. When it comes to screen time, turning off electronics at least one hour before bed can reduce the blue light that might disrupt their natural sleep cycle.
If your child ever feels restless, teaching them deep breathing (which you can learn in our hypnosis sessions) can be very beneficial. This practice not only calms them but also gives them control over their body and mind at bedtime.
